Overview
The 19th Asia Pacific International Conference on Information Science and Technology (APIC-IST 2024) will be held from June 23-26, 2024 in Nagoya, Japan. APIC-IST has made significant contributions to the areas of Information & Communications Technology(ICT), and Converging Technology(CT). The upcoming APIC-IST 2024 aims to provide industry professionals and academic researchers with valuable insights into emerging issues in computing environments, web applications, information systems, artificial intelligence, big data, and their supporting technologies. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Selected papers will be recommended for publication in special issues of two journals indexed by SCIE or KCI.

• Submission of Paper: May 10, 2024
• Decision Notification: May 17, 2024		 • Submission of Camera-ready Paper: May 24, 2024
• Registration Due: May 24 - 31, 2024 (Early),

• Conference Date: June 23 - 26, 2024
 
Publishing and Awards
 
1. Conference Paper Publishing
All accepted conference papers will be published in the conference proceedings of APIC-IST 2024. Authors submitting papers should refer to the format form, which can be downloaded from the APIC-IST 2024 website. Please be sure to adhere to the length of the paper (2 pages for short papers and 3-6 pages for full papers).
 
2. Journal Publishing
• KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems (indexed by SCIE)
• Journal of Internet Computing and Services (indexed by KCI)
 
3. Best Paper Award
The Best Paper Award will be presented during the conference’s closing session.
Award nominees are limited to authors of full papers.
 
Call for Workshops
We welcome proposals for workshops on special and emerging topics in any area related to the above 12 tracks of the 19th APIC-IST 2024. Interested parties should email a one-page workshop proposal to ksii@ksii.or.kr, including the following information:
  • Title of the workshop or special session: e.g., Special Session on Generative AI
  • Brief description of the workshop or special session in 200-400 words
  • Workshop or special session chair(s): name, affiliation, country, phone number, and e-mail address
